Welcome

The mission of the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles (GPALA) is to advance training, research, education, consultation in group psychotherapy. We believe strongly in the efficacy and viability of group therapy as a primary modality of psychological treatment and emotional support.

GPALA’s activities are enhanced by being an affiliate of the American Group Psychotherapy Association. AGPA’s journal and meetings are known for their scholarship and relevance worldwide.

Members of GPALA are joining a community of professionals who provide mutual support, encouragement, networking, and professional growth and who are dedicated to the highest standards of practice, collegiality, and professional development.
